The local Colorado group that has seen exponential growth over the past few years is back with their first release from their upcoming album, Heat.wav, dropping August 13th. Having some fun with words the single mashes the group’s name and the title of a popular Flux song for an absolute banging sound. Banana Cannon maintains the glitched synth that RPM is known for, while introducing some serious wobbles throughout the track. This track was first played on HOT 107.1 on Friday, and I have been patiently waiting for its’ release since then. With RPM’s growing success, the Colorado community will get two changes in the near future to catch the trio live. First, at legendary Red Rocks opening for another Colorado group, SAVOY, then in September they will be playing along side Figure and Lazerdisk Party Sex at Cervantes Masterpiece.
