Velcro City Records Turns Four With a Bang

Our friends over at Velcro City Records recently celebrated a huge milestone, turning four years old! With over 175 releases and 700 songs on their resume, it is safe to say that these guys have been extremely busy over the years. Helping to build the electronic scene here in Denver with creative and innovative sounds, I am always excited to listen to the next release from VCR. Record head and producer DJ Vanish has spent many years behind the decks and the desk transforming the label describing it as a “labor of love.”

The release features original mixes by Galactik Knights, Vanish, The Supreme Action League, 12 Inch Plastic Toys, Lefo X, Madday, DT Tactics, & Juginz. The compilation acts as an example of the kind of musical versatility that this label has been producing for years. Be sure to check out more releases from them through their social networking links provided below.

And for all of my Denver crew, Vanish has just been added to the lineup of the Gigamesh show on June 30th at the Marquis Theater. Having caught Gigamesh only a week ago I can already tell you that this show is not to be missed for all my disco steppers out there!
