Well I don’t know if my musical ear is maturing, but I cannot stop listening to the DJ’s and producers that are pushing todays insane House music scene. From the “Dirty Dutch” to the glitch and Electro-house monsters; from SHM to Skrillex. Everyone is getting their hands on some epic vocals, combined with massive drops and epic track construction this genre is set to make a take-over similar to rock and roll in the sixties. Yeah I said it, I truly have to believe as I watch House music swallow up each and every music genre it approaches only to rework and spit it back out making todays youth dance harder than any generation before us. That the answer lies within the godfather of all electronic dance music genres, House, this I believe will be what truly brings EDM to the masses.

With all that said, I want to introduce everyone to San Francisco based DJ and Producer Ken Loi, known for his epic mashups and truly genius bootlegs Ken has made the evolving world of electro-house his bitch essentially. The mans Soundcloud alone has more activity then most of my friends Facebook feeds. Below I have posted the preview to Ken’s biggest track to date which Beatport clearly had to scoop up and I can’t blame them this track makes me want to dance, fuck, and go to war all at the same time. The insanity comes in the form of the Denzal Park song Militia. Ken takes it to the remix decks and absolutely turns up the noise. The track, which you can buy on Beatport, is worth every penny, the preview below is just the first 2 minutes of the almost 6 minute final piece.

Denzal Park – Militia (Ken Loi Remix)

Next up I have Kens take on Gotye’s  chart topper. This one is a combination of works from Michael Burns, Special Features, and Thomas Gold all mashed up making for another great tune.

Michael Brun & Special Features vs Thomas Gold vs Gotye – Fire Somebodys Synergy(Ken Loi Bootup)

Although this last track is a few months old it is a keeper for sure, this is the Ken Loi edit of the epic, and already once mashed-up track By Deniz Koyu and Coldlay entitled Hertz in Paradise.

Deniz Koyu vs Coldplay – Hertz In Paradise (Ken Loi Edit)

Lastly here are a few tracks: a Ken Loi original, a Ken Loi bootleg, and a Ken Loi mash-up (this is the stuff he got huge for – Tiesto loves featuring Loi’s mash-ups on the Club Life podcasts).

Ken Loi – Hands Up (Original Mix)
The White Stripes – Seven Nation Army (Ken Loi 2011 Bootleg)
Nero vs. Nicky Romero – Crush on Toulouse (Ken Loi Mash-Up)

Also, fun fact: Ken Loi gets his hair did at Supercuts…
