UK House duo Gorgon City will be making their return to the US with a string of dates in March including appearances at SXSW in Austin, EDC Mexico City, Winter Music Conference in Miami and Coachella. Between these festival dates, they will also have club dates in Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles including spots alongside BBC radio host Annie Mac. They will also play special headlining performance at New York’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 29th. To mark the upcoming tour, they will be offering a previously unreleased track off their album, ”No More” featuring LIV for free download. This is the first time hearing the vocals of LIV and I have instantly fallen in love, Gorgon City has done a beautiful job of orchestrating a tune that was meant for her to sing too. Max volume for this jam please, you won’t regret it!

I have been barely surviving as of late, simply put, I am addicted to Russ Chimes and there has been a shortage recently. I’ve looked high and low, asked around, yet for months there was barely a whisper of the musical goodness that is Russ Chimes. Alas, the silence is broken – Russ Chimes is back. And I quote, “So I’ve been sitting on a bunch of new music for a bit, and it’s time to start getting it out there!” His first order of business is the first piece of original work since the highly acclaimed single, Turn Me Out. Bringing in the accelerated beats to make a massive energy track entitled “Motions” is exactly what I was hoping for!
Russ Chimes also shared this deep house remix of “There’s A Place,” the debut from Belgian duo Arches earlier this week. It is absolutely fantastic.
Keep your ladies locked up boys, the Milkman is back in town! After a short hiatus from the daily grind of delivering the freshest earmilk (so that’s where the blog got its’ name), the multi faceted producer is back with another hit remix. Milkman keeps the original vocals from Cal of Timeflies intact, but brings in the progressive house in a big way for the melody. Like most of Milkman’s recent productions, this remix was made with smiling and dancing in mind. Ever since randomly catching his set at EDC NY last year we have been hooked and hope to catch him this summer where he will be sure to bring many heavy tunes like the one featured today.
It looks the national Cold Crush Tour featuring Paper Diamond alongside Loudpvck is already resulting in some serious collaboration time. Whether they are hitting up studios along the way or working in the mobile studio aka tour bus, these boys know how to get it done. This original hits hard and heavy – sirens and horns are in full force for this anthem. However the beat is blended perfect with the hip hop lyrics and breaks in the action for the festival attendees to catch their breath. If you have been lucky to catch the tour so far I’m sure you’ve heard it, with each other taking turns letting it rip on the turntables. Be sure to check out the remaining dates on the tour below to see if they homies are headed your way soon!
It comes with great pleasure and honor in premiering the debut EP from one of the rising stars in the british disco scene, Mr. jackLNDN! Hearing him search for the perfect sound over the years has been quite entertaining from the early remixes of Porter Robinson‘s “Language” and Cazzette‘s “Weapon” to the more recent remixes like Goldroom‘s “Embrace” and his “Summer Never Ends Mix.” The evolution of jackLNDN’s career has been documented well here at MMIBTY and it is finally time for his coming out party. The Drop Out EP is pure bliss to my ears, hitting every dance note needed to bring my smile side to side. My favorite track has got to be the leading jam “Drop Out,” with it’s upbeat vibes that I will be sure to ride right into spring. Be sure to check out the entire EP as it is free download and for the love of god give this kid some support so we can finally lure him over the pond!
Oh and that little logo at the top of the album artwork is his new logo, he wants to know what you think?! Hit him up on Twitter!
