Defected Records has a weekly podcast called “Defected In The House” mixed by the beautiful Sam Devine. It may be my favorite mix series at the moment, every week spewing out two hours of funky underground House that only the Defected team knows how to do. Recently Sam Devine has been spinning Will Clarke‘s infectious tune “Spandex” and I’m so excited that as of today it’s officially out for you to purchase, own, and love. This is Will Clarke’s first release on Defected but he is no stranger to the House scene, stemming from Bristol, UK and being good buddies with guys like Kill Frenzy. Speaking of Kill Frenzy, Will Clarke’s style doesn’t fall far from the Dirtybird gang’s bouncy, fun, goofy sounds that have made them so unique. We get sexy vocal duties by Rhea and I’m reminded of the very fun track “Bassline” by GotSome featuring The Get Along Gang (also released on Defected).
