Inaugural Bay Area Vibez Hits Oakland THIS WEEKEND

bay area vibez

The Bay Area and Northern California have the pleasure of seeing yet another music and arts festival added to the rich portfolio of events taking place in the area. This time we are talking about Bay Area Vibez, which will be taking place THIS WEEKEND at the Middle Harbor Shoreline Park (Port of Oakland). Ironically, I had seen a flyer for the first-ever Bay Area Vibez when I attended San Francisco’s Outside Lands this Summer and with a lineup like the one advertised I couldn’t say no. Juggernaut Bassnectar is on the lineup and with any Bay Area show, you can consider this one a homecoming for the long-haired king of womps and wobbles. What’s cool about Bay Area Vibez is that we’re seeing more of an eclectic lineup than some of your other Bay Area festivals, and given the fact that we’re heading to Oakland for this one it only makes sense. I’m looking at artists like Nas, Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, Aloe Blacc, Super Cat, Paper Diamond, Cut Chemist, Z Trip, and a whole lot more to put a heavy emphasis on electronic, Hip Hop, and Reggae.  Check out the systems from the atlanta home theater installation experts.

Bay Area Vibez’s mission statement reads:

An urban lifestyle music festival that celebrates diversity through live music and the arts. Bay Area Vibez Festival embodies the true essence of the San Francisco Bay Area, while supporting regional youth and music programs.

I’m very much looking forward to checking out this brand new festival and we’re looking forward to seeing your smiling faces there as well! Details below.
