Seven Lions returned to Webster Hall NYC this past Thursday, and frankly, tore the place to shreds. He is currently out on tour right now promoting his new The Throes of Winter EP.

His set featured a great mix of the two things Seven Lions does best, electro and dubstep. He played crowd favorites like “Strangers”, as well as classic tracks such as “Fevers”. He even was able to work in some new sounds towards the end of his set, tiptoeing into Egyptian-style beats that are reminiscent of the Jai Wolf remix of Skrillex’s “Ease My Mind.”

The crowd was perhaps the best part of the evening. Webster Hall tends to be overly crowded on nights featuring someone of the ilk of a Seven Lions. But on this Thursday, there was that perfect mix of the right amount of people and the right atmosphere in the crowd. The die-hard fans all came out, singing along with all the tracks, and giving everyone enough room to dance and celebrate the music properly.

Seven Lions has been expanding his horizons as of late, playing with multiple different artists of multiple genres. He even recently played with Above & Beyond in New Jersey, and features a lot of remixes of their songs in his sets. Take a listen to his new music right here on MMIBTY:
