Next up for the ever growing NEST HQ imprint comes a five track EP from London duo, NAPT. NAPT’s stylish and imaginative records straddle cutting edge house, futuristic bass and disco music haracterised by emotive melodies, punchy drums and a tasteful dose of lo-end. London duo NAPT team up with friend and previous collaborator, Roska, on the title track of Come Like This, chopping vocals from NAPT’s Ashley Pope with classic piano chords and punching drums for a new school take on classic House. The duo layer up a hefty amount of fun, cheeky samples in the B-sides, “Hold Tight” and “Party Politics,” carefully placing a multitude of chops for two made to play House-influenced tunes. Overall it is a solid collective work that is definitely worth grabbing up and incorporating it into the next summer mixtape!
