I thoroughly enjoy when dance producers take us back to the golden age of hip hop, remixing some of the classic beats we grew up on. The Fugees were one of hip hops supergroups comprised of all-stars Wyclef Jean, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and Pras Michel. They dominated the airwaves after their sophomore album, The Score, became one of the highest grossing of all-time in its’ genre with such hits as “No Woman No Cry,” “Killing Me Softly with His Song,” and the track featured today “Ready Or Not.” Definitely my favorite song on the album as well as the fans choice for the elusive Whiiite to remix when he posed that very question. Whiiite recently hit 50,000 followers on Facebook and decided to remix any song we wanted – let’s just say I couldn’t be happier! Whiiite hits us hard with a thugged out trap rendition of the cult classic giving it up for a free download. The lyrics and voice of Lauren Hill is always an absolute pleasure to hear, get on this release!
