Merk & Kremont are are two young Progressive House DJs, remixers and producers based in Italy. They’ve gained support from juggernauts like Avicii, Nicky Romero, Hardwell, Benny Benassi, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Fedde le Grand, A-Trak, and plenty more. I first posted about Merk & Kremont when they released their awesome track “Tundra” in collaboration with Paris & Simo. Now the duo is back with a high-energy track called “She Makes the Crowd Go”, released for free yesterday in celebration of hitting 10,000 Facebook fans – a huge milestone for any up-and-coming artist. The vocal sample may sound familiar to you, as I recognize it from Alvaro’s “Make the Crowd GO”. But the sound is surely different and shows us why these guys are a dance music act to pay attention to.
In a completely different direction I bring you ETC(!) ETC(!)‘s latest treat “B.B Anthem”. This one’s a fresh out the frying pan original and has some real booty bounce edge to it. Just when I thought I’d be hearing a new Moombahton song for the first time in, well, a while this explodes into a mass of Twerk and Trap – a trifecta of ass-shaking bass music. In ETC(!) The last track I have up for you today may come as a surprise – because it’s another Trap song. This time it comes to you from the Mediterranean coast of Spain and a producer by the name of Soniye. I honestly have no idea how I found this guy but I follow him on SoundCloud and this remix of Tony Junior‘s track “Twerk Anthem” is pretty incredible. Shit goes hard, and it’s no surprise as Soniye refers to himself as a music lover, a Mediterranean pimp, and a producer of Trap and Moombah “muzik”. I’m planning to dive head-first into Soniye’s catalog, just as you should, but for now turn your speakers way up and blast his remix of “Twerk Anthem”!
Lastly I wanted to feature my latest mix. It’s no secret that I’ve been heavily into Deep House and G-House recently, so I took 100-minutes worth of Deep House and funky tracks and mixed them all together for your listening pleasure.
