Getting Deep with… NERVO?! Plus Goldroom’s New Track “Adalita”

nervo don't break my heart

I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard NERVO & Marco Lys‘ new track “Don’t Break My Heart”. The track was released today for free in celebration of the Aussie duo reaching one million Facebook fans. “Don’t Break My Heart” is a Deep House gem created in collaboration with Italian DJ/Producer Marco Lys who is known for his roots in Tech-House. It’s no secret the girls of NERVO – Mim and Liv – produce melodic and vocal-infused Big Room and Progressive House and my experience listening to their music has said nothing of a Deep House interest. “Don’t Break My Heart” is quite the pleasant surprise for me, considering how much I’ve been enjoying the deeper side of House. What’s great is that in typical NERVO fashion we’re also treated to vocals that intertwine perfectly with the short-but-sweet track (only 3:36). While I like and respect NERVO for what they became popular for, this has got to be one of my favorite tracks I’ve heard by them to date. And if this is your first time hearing Marco Lys, definitely do yourself a favor and dig deeper into his collection.

Also released today for free is Goldroom‘s latest track “Adalita” featuring the vocals of Chela. This one is slowed down a significant amount compared to the above NERVO track, but plays on Goldroom’s roots in Disco/Nu-Disco/Indie and is a chilled-out, melodic treat. If you’re easing into your weeks much like I am, “Adalita” is the perfect potion helping you to love dance music and loving life.

In Goldroom’s words:

I’ve been so blown away by all of the love for Embrace [EP] that I decided to give away our new song, Adalita, for free. Chela and I wrote this song together and I really hope you all like it. If you dig it, please click share so we can all spread the word. Again, thanks to each and every one of you. I love you all!

In order to download “Adalita” for free all you have to do is sign up for Goldroom’s mailing list, which is probably a smart move if you like his music.
