Coming back from their two-night summer run at State Bridge in Bond, BoomBox is bringing the sounds of Russ Randolph and Zion Rock Godchaux back to the Rocky Mountain state over the weekend. Due to the floods that invaded Colorado, their September 13th show was rescheduled to this Friday, October 4th. It will be the final show of the season and the artists playing will make sure the season closes properly. The two of them come together as a nice cross of electro-rock n’ roll. A live performance blends an assortment of sounds of rock n’ roll, blues, and with the production skills both of them have – it creates a performance nobody will want to miss. They are now touring with an analog studio soundboard, creating an all-original, live sound that plugs out the best sounds for their instrumental and electronic sounds. It’s a show you’ll truly be missing the boat on if you miss it. Whether you’re more into the jamtronica sounds of hometown favorite and headliner of the night, Lotus, or the electronic/glitch-hop sounds of opener Break Science there’s a little something for everyone. Tickets previously purchased for the 09/13 show will be honored, and if you didn’t get the chance to get one before, they are on sale here.
