Hailing from the same home city as the boss of Mad Decent, Diplo, the Philly phenom Swizzymack has finally released his debut EP on the amateur label, Jeffrees. The EP is comprised of three free downloads that span beyond any specific genre as the rookie blends trap, heavy bass, dubstep, and hip hop themes into a complete twerk workout. I love when listening to an EP or album and as you progress through the tracks they just get better and better. “BASS”, the headline track, starts off strong with a true trap anthem, which I really didn’t think the other songs would top. Then I started “Bouncin” and fell in love with track, had to put it on repeat a few times honestly. Little did I know that Swizzymack saved the best for last with “Drip.” At first I thought I was listening to an old Juelz Santana song, but the drip gets turned up as the track heats up. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with my first listens of Swizzymack and will be looking for him as he begins to hit the tour circuit!
