FREE DEADMAU5

Are you guys as excited as we are for Deadmau5 to release some long awaited new tracks? As of today, June 25th, he’s as free as bird from Ultra Records now that his “run off” period has expired. Deadmau5 aka Joel Zimmerman,  is now able to paint the town red and is clearly as giddy as a school girl about it from the looks of his multiple social media accounts. The dude has been 100% open and honest about his thoughts on the conflicts between him and his partnership at Ultra Records, and at times his comments have been a little controversial. But I love it. Here are just a few tweets that express his dissatisfaction with these guys:

@deadmau5: shout out to @ultrarecords on a real bang up job promoting my video by restricting it to territories. amazing promotional work as usual.” (Aug. 29, 2012)

@deadmau5: Haven’t been releasing any new stuff coz of a dick move on a “run off” period with a certain record company, but times runnin out. We good.” (Feb. 9, 2013)

@deadmau5:got a beautiful track goin.” (June 6, 2013)

@deadmau5: cant wait to release this one.. for reals… just let me wait until my “run off” period with ultra records ends. f those guys. june 25th. :D” (June 6, 2013)

As you can see, these issues have been springing up for a while. And with his pure pleasure, today he happily tweeted:

@deadmau5: F*CK YOU @ultrarecords IM OUT. :)”

Zimmerman has been working diligently in his temporary studio to produce some new stuff while he’s been patiently awaiting his release so he can start a new chapter in his music career. Although we’re unsure of when we’ll be able to get the full tracks, he posted a few previews of his new projects on his Soundcloud page, titled “f*ckmylife”. It has quite the ring to it, doesn’t it? From my personal opinion and the reaction of others, they’re going to be HUGE hits, especially because he’s been putting his blood, sweat, and tears into these bad boys through all of the bull Ultra Records has seemed to put him through. You can listen in on “Assume Control”, “Moog Bass + Modular”, “Suite 03″, “Monophobia”, and his collaboration with Kill The Noise, “Killthemau5″ down below! Everyone is giving some amazingly positive feedback and Deadmau5 is extrememly amped to get the ball rolling. I’m excited for him and you all should be too. He’s got a lot of potential and it’s all about to show…big time. He’s definitely got this one in the bag. Watch out everyone, there’s a new mau5 in town.
