Personally, I love R.L. Grime more than Sosa [Chief Keef]. I love his grimey drops too which this song consists plenty of. If you look at my other posts you can tell that I love hip hop/rap remixes and this one is surely a hit. He still integrates most of Chief’s rap in it and just adds a hint of some background trap and then a drop you can’t help but bob your elbows to. I heard about RL Grime on Diplo & Friends a while back and have kept up with him since. Honestly Diplo’s radio show is where the next big things to blow up always premiere (in my opinion) and R.L Grime is a perfect example of it. His tracks and remixes are constantly used in DJ’s sets and I say this because I witnessed 12th Planet and Carnage do so at Meltdown Music Festival in Dallas/Ft. Worth this past weekend. 12th Planet dropped the ‘Satisfaction’ RL Grime remix during his set and Carnage did as well at the after party at Lizard Lounge.
