Axwell Bounces Back from SHM With “Committed To Sparkle Motion” Remix

249006_10151324006061887_1434615434_nWe first heard the DubVision’s remix as Axwell tore down Electric Zoo a year ago. It popped back up when Dirty South took over the nation with his legendary “City of Dreams” tour. And now, “Falling,” or as we’ve all come to know it, Committed to Sparkle Motion, is back. And not as a progressive powerhouse, but as a toned down electro-rock anthem, remixed by none other than my favorite Swedish House veteran – Axwell. Taking Discopolis’s original piece and mirroring what Eric Prydz once did with “Midnight City,” he leaves the soul of the song intact while filling out the empty space. He sparingly punches it up with a few synths and an indie-rock beat to make even Bloc Party jealous, thus giving us the electronic feel we crave neatly packaged in a beautiful rock song. So to anyone worrying about his integrity as a producer: listen up, because the genre-defying Axwell is back.

If you want the whole EP, pick it up on iTunes or Beatport.
