Call me obsessed but I have been completely unable to stop playing this track from Sticky and Lamahra, which I originally heard on the newest Fool’s Gold Radio podcast courtesy of Nick Catchdubs. Released through Big Dada, an offshoot of the notorious Ninjatune Records, “Cutting Shapes” is full of a healthy dose of upbeat energy that’s totally irresistible. The vocal sampling from Sticky and full-bodied vocals of Lamahra set the tone for the driving garage beat that is guaranteed to get your feet moving. This track has certainly put Sticky on the map for me and I look forward to his upcoming debut album, set to be released later this year. Be sure to check out the video for the track after the jump.
