Paper Diamond Previews His Vision Of The New Tour

Paper Diamond, one of the first of many acts to be a part of Pretty Light’s music label, has emerged as a standout artist as he has since moved on to also drop beats on Mad Decent, while extending his entire discography for free across the internet. Alex has jumped on many of the top festivals, made his rounds with the Pretty Lights Music gang, and is now heading out on his second headlining tour, named ‘The Night Vision Tour’. He will be touring with The Knocks, Elliot Lipp, and other friends as he hits up 24 cities across the United States. Today, we have a preview of what to expect from the man, as he released a half hour mix of PD favorites, new material, and other great tunes (some of which have been featured on this site!)

The man hits multiple genres, working off of the glitch hop style that got him started on PLM and adding upon flavor from moombahton and trap genres. Glitch hop hasn’t seen much popularity aside from Pretty Lights, The Glitch Mob, older Bassnectar songs, and similar artists. However, Paper Diamond’s ability to blend it with current popular genres is definitely something to take note of, and should make for a killer set. In case you need a refresher on glitch hop, Paper Diamond’s ‘Levitate EP’ is definitely a great album to check out. Luckily for all of us, the EP can be found for free here.

Last but not least, here’s a picture from his site of the visuals he’ll be using for the tour, cause what’s an EDM show without crazy lighting to accompany the beats, right?

Crazy right? You won’t want to miss it. The Tulsa and Dallas shows just went down this week, and here are the rest of the shows. Go grab your tickets now right here!.
