Two New Remixes From Some of The Best Melodic Dubstep Producers Around

I love getting to make these kinds of joint posts. Bringing together the best from different artists under the same umbrella. One song just happens to accompany the other so well. Like the GRiZ and KOAN Sound post I made last week. Contrasting yet complementary. Similar yet unique. Seven Lions has made such a name for himself but largely outside of the dubstep realm, thanks in part to his remix work for trance superstars Above and Beyond and their support for said remix through their live shows and their famous Trance Around The World Podcast (which is celebrating a milestone 450th episode this coming November). His productions are wholesome and melodic and therefore he is perfectly suited to take on trance tunes, enriching them with deep bass for increased aural pleasure. His latest is a remix of Tritonal‘s “Still With Me” and it hits in all the right places.

Sound Remedy holds a special place in my heart, and apparently that of many others as he’s racked up a cool 45K plays on his latest remix in only three short days. Somewhat of an internet enigma, Sound Remedy hammers creative muscles quite unlike any other producer in electronic music. While he’s produced a satisfying pool of originals, his forté comes in the form of his remix work, which consistently amazes in both his song selection and the way he transforms them into full musical journeys in sound. While he could loosely be classified as dubstep, his sound is nothing other than the remedy for what ails you. This one, like all of his work, is a freebie. Make sure to grab his incredible work on Ellie Goulding‘s “Hanging On” here as well.

P.S. Colorado Readers: Don’t miss your chance to catch Sound Remedy live at Cervante’s in Denver on October 3rd.
