Alex Metric Drops Two New Remixes

A constant favorite here on the blog, Alex Metric continues to impress us spitting out new remixes and mixes all summer long. The kid plays such a broad array of music, that you never know what kind of remix you are going to get. Alex has honed in on the french techno and nu-disco  music sounds that many of his idols played like Daft Punk, Jaques Le Cont, Basement Jaxx, Underworld, Cassius, New Order, and so many more. Now with this arsenal of skill at hand, Alex is going after the biggest tracks in the game and slapping a mighty big stamp on them. First up, he takes on the powerful vocals of Ellie Goulding in Anything Could Happen. The track takes off like a high speed race through crazy disco and electronic worlds as he transforms the song into a passage between pop and the ever growing french disco scene.

Ellie Goulding – Anything Could Happen (Alex Metric Remix)

Only two days after dropping that heat, he was back giving us his best reworking of St. Lucia‘s  appropriately titled track September. Transforming the choruses to make us feel like we are at a Daft Punk show is possibly the best way to describe how I feel while listening to this song.  Alex brings out a lot of new sounds to hopefully carry this beast all the way to the New Year and beyond. Let us know what style of remix you liked better!
