We did an artist spotlight on Keys N Krates a while back and it seemed right after that they became a household name. Just to be clear, I’m not saying we had anything to do with it. But Keys and Krates, whose “thing” is “reinventing the remix”, have continued to release remix after remix, continuing to bring their interesting combination of hip-hop, breaks, and electronic beats to already great songs. This newest one is no exception. Taking what was one of the best tracks off Zeds Dead & Omar Linx‘s free EP Victor, KnK have made “No Prayers” more upbeat and diversifed, breathing new life into the standout track. Linx’s bars are notably absent in the remix but the new take on production is more than enough to compensate.
