Having just returned from a trip to New York City, I feel reborn from all of the energy that the Big Apple pumped into me. With an endless supply of new music and fresh faces to be found I decided that I had to give NYC some loving. And I’m not talking about all of the superstars that have descended on the city for EDC this weekend, I’m talking about some local lovin’ to someone that actually deserves it. That is when I stumbled across the musical collaboration of Brooklyn-native Felix Feygin and Jersey-boy Michael Banks new project Chordashian. Combining elements of nu disco, funk, pop, hip hop, and some awesome haircuts these cats have already landed spots at events like Electric Zoo in the past year.
In the last month they have released a brand new EP titled Spaceman as well as the two featured remixes below. Gearing up for a busy summer these two have an arsenal of tracks to take them to the next level. The infectious groove that they create has me bobbing and dancing even as I write this.
