Dub to Kick Off A New Year at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

The Red Rocks season is finally upon us bringing together acts hailing from all genres and disciplines. The rise of electronic music has never been more apparent when looking at this year’s schedule with EDM acts peppered throughout the entire season. Kicking off the season will be the inaugural Global Dub Festival in Colorado. Last year they teased us  as Rusko joined the Disco Biscuits to open up Rocks, leaving us a little skankered and with a lot more disgust for the Biscuits. Hearing our cries, the wonderful people at Global Dance Music have compiled a killer dubstep lineup that will surely melt the red right off the rocks on May 18th.

Flux Pavilion once again returns to Colorado where he is welcomed as family with multiple sold out shows at the Ogden last year as well as headlining the hugely successful Decadence Event that saw 10,000 fans bring in the New Year at the Colorado Convention Center. Never one to shy away from a party, he is bringing his record partner and best mate Doctor P along with him to make sure we all understand how they do overseas. But of course the boys from Circus Records aren’t enough for a festival so they brought in one the most outrageous and entertaining acts around in Datsik to make sure the crowd is good and drunk before the clock comes close to midnight. Rounding off this years’ wompfest are two great producers Downlink and Dirtyloud guaranteeing a party as soon as they open up those legendary gates.

Tickets are going fast so be sure to pick them up soon at any authorized ticket dealer. While you’re at it check out the rest of the lineup at Red Rocks this season… it’s mouth watering!
