Thursday night Robotic Pirate Monkey (RPM), VOODOO FARM, and Richard Fraioli will be tearing up the Middle East basement in Cambridge Massachusetts as part of their Northeast tour. Thanks to promoters The Royal Edge Experience (T.R.E.E.), there will be a massive light show to go along with the hard beats and deafening drops only these guys can bring to you. For your chance to win FREE tickets, Like MMIBTY on Facebook and fill out the form – winner will be selected at random tomorrow.

Headliner RPM is a trio of bass music producers and DJs by the names of Matt Berryhill, Matt Flesher, and Andrew Hathaway, otherwise known on SoundCloud as Captain FlesheHathaBerry. The crew hails from Boulder, Colorado and began producing tracks in the Spring of 2010. Since that time they’ve managed to rack up a huge following and just under 10,000 fans on Facebook. According to The Untz, “Robotic Pirate Monkey in its truest essence is the holy trinity of electronic music. Their robotic nature of using computers to their fullest musical potential, combined with their ruthless habit of pirating and manipulating musical samples as they see fit creates an atmosphere where “monkeying around” seems to be the only appropriate behavior.” Since their foundation they have “put every waking effort into bringing people the music that makes them go bananas“.

VOODOO FARM is the music project of NYC-based DJ/producer/filmmaker Liam Dirlam. By infusing sounds of Electro House/Dubstep/Glitch-Hop/Moomba, and releasing self-made music videos for each track, VOODOO FARM sets himself apart both musically and visually. If you’ve read this blog over the past year, you know that VOODOO FARM is one of our favorites and we even selected his remix of Marvin Gaye’s “Grapevine” as one of the Top-20 remixes of 2011. After seeing him in Rhode Island in front of a PACKED house, we quickly realized Liam can THROW DOWN. If your body isn’t moving during his set you may want to go to the hospital because you are probably pulse-less. VOODOO FARM’s debut album “The Weird Circle EP” is slated to drop this month.
