Some New Dubstep from Zeds Dead and Newcomer Seven Lions

Butch: Zed’s dead, baby. Zed’s dead.

As you probably know by now, we are all big fans of Zeds Dead. They seem to have no end to their talent and have produced so many amazing tunes that it is impossible to find something you don’t love. Their laid-back dub track “Coffee Break” had us bopping around the room to its chill and engaging beat, “1975” showed us their incredible skill toying with samples, songs like “Out For Blood” and their remix of “Eyes on Fire” featuring Omar LinX proved their ability to blend rap and dubstep flawlessly, and their last banger, “Ruckus The Jam”, showed us their electro house muscles are just as strong as all their dubstep ones. Seriously though, these Canadian’s collection is utterly fantastic and it seems to keep getting better. Adding to it, their newest EP Adrenaline has leaked ahead of its scheduled release and there’s a little something for everyone on here. My favorite track has to be “Oh No” but depending how hard you like your dubstep, the other tracks “Adrenaline” and “In The Beginning” will make you want to go out and punch someone. Grab the whole thing in the zip pack.

Last but not least, Seven Lions, a relatively unknown producer out of Santa Barbera, CA released a huge remix of Above & Beyond’s track “You Got To Go”. You would be foolish to be tricked into thinking this is a trance song because after the melodic introduction, it hits hard. I love this kind of dubstep (think Adventure Club but harder).
