Some Sick New Bass Albums Out This Week

Last week I took us for a look at some of the new electro-house EP’s that were just released that you needed to know about. Now, I’ve got the flip-side of things. Three new albums of smashing bass music (i.e. dubstep, glitch, and DNB, a little bit of everything for you today) that should satisfy the low-end craving part of your brain. Let’s get into it…

Camo and Krooked, the Austrian DnB duo released their album last week and I have been just dying to make a post about it. Their new album, Cross The Line, is full of a wide range of songs that sway between DnB, dubstep, and just generally bass-heavy sounds. This track, my current favorite, takes a light melody and then drops hard.

Next, Cryptex, the LA glitch producer who I believe is the biggest thing to happen to glitch music since The Glitch Mob (remember them?) dropped his newest EP Isolated Incidents today and it is just glorious. I haven’t heard good glitch like this in a long time. I would recommend you buy the album because I did…

Kraddy, who I am just becoming familiar with, just released a FREE full length album today that I saved for last because it is some of the most innovative bass music I’ve heard in a while. From what I understand, Kraddy mixed up Anthems of The Hero by taking a work that was originally a rock album and adding in his bass sound. What results is a sick cross between heavy rock and heavy bass music that is uncategorizable but downright cool. Here’s one of my favorites off the new album but it’s FREE so I recommend you pick up the whole thing immediately on his website here.
